This carbon dioxide (CO₂) gas sensor features high accuracy and PASens® technology, making it suitable for various applications such as indoor air quality control in smart buildings, HVAC systems, smart greenhouses for optimizing plant growth, industrial environment monitoring for worker safety, enclosed space health monitoring like warehouses and vehicles, and scientific and medical applications including respiratory devices. Built-in sensors for temperature, humidity, and pressure enhance measurement accuracy, making it ideal for sensitive environments.
Modbus RTU protocol network communication
Waterproof package with IP64 rating
Use of high-quality American components and Swiss sensor with high precision in product manufacturing
Compatible with various PLCs, DCSs, and RTUs via RS-485 network
Simultaneous measurement of carbon dioxide, pressure, temperature, and humidity with an advanced sensor for more precise environmental monitoring!
0–10,000 ppm (CO₂ calibrated measurement range)
Output range: 0 to 40,000 ppm
Accuracy within 400 to 5,000 ppm: ±(5% + 40 ppm)
Repeatability: ±10 ppm
Annual accuracy drift (with active automatic self-calibration algorithm): ±(0.5% + 5 ppm of the reading)
Since air pressure affects CO₂ levels, the accuracy of the pressure sensor will impact the accuracy of the measured CO₂ values.
Operating humidity: 0 to 90% RH
Measurement range: 0 to 90% RH
Typical accuracy:
±6% RH (at 15 to 35 °C and 20 to 65% humidity)
±9% RH (at -10 to 60 °C and 0 to 90% humidity)
Repeatability: ±0.4% RH
Annual accuracy drift: less than 0.25% RH
Operating temperature: -10 to +60 °C
Measurement range: -10 to 60 °C
Typical accuracy:
±0.8 °C (at 15 to 35 °C)
±1.5 °C (at -10 to 60 °C)
Repeatability: ±0.1 °C
Annual accuracy drift: less than 0.03 °C
Operating temperature range: -10 to +60 °C
Short-term storage temperature: -10 to +50 °C (short-term storage refers to temporary conditions during transportation)
Operating range: 20 to 110 kPa (absolute pressure)
Equivalent altitude: -700 m at 50 kPa pressure
Calibration range: 50 to 110 kPa (absolute pressure)
Load range: 0.2 to 1.1
The relays in the carbon dioxide sensor have two different control modes:
Mode 1: Modbus network mode
Mode 2: Based on carbon dioxide levels
Each relay can be configured individually to operate in either mode. For example, one relay can be set based on CO₂ gas levels, while another can be controlled via the Modbus network settings.
The relay operates based on the selected control mode: decreasing or increasing.
In decreasing control mode, the relay turns ON when the CO₂ reaches the maximum range and turns OFF at the minimum range.
In increasing control mode, the relay turns ON when the CO₂ dose reaches the minimum range and turns OFF at the maximum range.
By default, this display shows the measured levels of carbon dioxide, temperature, humidity, and pressure. The device features a 1.3-inch OLED screen and four buttons for configuring settings.

Yes. Since the device enclosure has an IP66 protection rating against water and dust ingress, this product can be used in outdoor environments. However, it is not recommended to expose it continuously to rain or direct water spray.
Due to the protective cover on the sensor, sudden sprays of non-acidic liquids are repelled and do not cause any damage to the sensor.
Since this sensor communicates via the Modbus protocol with devices such as PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs, you can view the measurements on industrial HMI displays and your personal computer monitor.
Yes. One meter of flexible four-core cable (power + RS-485) with a thickness of 0.25 mm² is included with the product.
Via the Modbus-RTU network
Yes, the sensor’s slave address can be changed via software using Modbus commands.
The components used in this sensor are manufactured in the USA and Switzerland.
Yes, according to Modbus protocol standards, this is possible. For more information and details on how to differentiate sensor data, you can refer to the sensor setup tutorial file.
You can find all tutorials and necessary files on the product page under the “Product Videos” and “Downloadable Files” tabs. Click here.
Some PLCs have an RS-485 port, allowing the sensor to connect directly. However, for PLCs without an RS-485 port, the sensors must be connected via RS-485 expansion cards.
Due to the sensor’s casing material, it cannot be installed directly inside a furnace. However, the company can provide the sensor with a half-meter cable, allowing customers to place the sensor circuitry outside while installing the sensor itself inside the furnace.
