The GSM Modbus IoT Gateway is a multi-purpose industrial communication module designed to connect Modbus protocol-based equipment to telecommunication networks and software systems. By utilizing various communication interfaces including RS485, LAN network, and WiFi, this device enables communication between PLCs, industrial controllers, monitoring systems, and web-based services.

Industrial SMS Gateway (SMS Gateway)

Support for industrial and web protocols (Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and HTTP)

Ability to define a custom control command for incoming SMS messages

Ability to define 200 predefined messages

Ability to define 200 authorized mobile numbers
This gateway supports Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and HTTP protocols and is capable of providing data to software, servers, and Internet of Things (IoT) platforms in JSON format. Therefore, integrating industrial equipment with management software, monitoring dashboards, and cloud systems is easily possible.
Due to its flexible architecture and customization capability, this gateway is considered a suitable option for a wide range of industrial and organizational applications. By combining telecommunication, networking, and industrial capabilities, the GSM Modbus IoT Gateway provides a powerful solution for establishing communication between field equipment, control systems, and software platforms, and enables rapid development of smart monitoring and control solutions in industrial projects.
* Remote monitoring and control of industrial equipment
* Sending SMS alerts for alarms and system faults
* Connecting PLCs and Modbus equipment to web-based software and IoT systems
* Implementing SMS-based remote control systems
* Sending reports and equipment status to system managers
* Integrating industrial equipment with software systems and cloud servers
* Using as an industrial SMS gateway in automation projects
One of the important capabilities of this product is providing an industrial SMS Gateway for automation systems. Users can create predefined messages and send them via Modbus commands or HTTP APIs. Also, the ability to send variable messages to desired numbers via HTTP is provided, offering a functionality similar to SMS sending service APIs.
This device has the capability to send webhooks for received SMS messages, incoming calls, and message delivery, through which it can transmit events in real time to servers and software systems. It is also possible to define text commands that, when received, change the value of a Modbus register; as a result, control systems such as PLCs can perform specific operations based on received messages.
Through the network APIs provided in this device, full SMS management is available, including viewing received and sent messages, checking message sending and delivery status (Delivery Report), and also viewing SIM card credit. In addition, the device has the capability to define multiple users for system management and access.
In addition to communication and SMS capabilities, this gateway also provides advanced management features to users. In this device, it is possible to define and store up to 200 predefined messages that can be sent via Modbus commands or the device’s network APIs. Also, the ability to define 200 authorized mobile numbers is provided to enhance security and access control. Users can define custom text commands for incoming SMS messages so that by receiving them, the value of Modbus registers changes and control equipment such as PLCs perform specific operations. In addition, the device has an API for sending variable SMS messages to desired numbers, which functions exactly like the API of online SMS services and enables sending customized SMS messages via software and web-based systems.

Yes. Since the device enclosure has an IP66 protection rating against water and dust ingress, this product can be used in outdoor environments. However, it is not recommended to expose it continuously to rain or direct water spray.
Due to the protective cover on the sensor, sudden sprays of non-acidic liquids are repelled and do not cause any damage to the sensor.
Since this sensor communicates via the Modbus protocol with devices such as PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs, you can view the measurements on industrial HMI displays and your personal computer monitor.
Yes. One meter of flexible four-core cable (power + RS-485) with a thickness of 0.25 mm² is included with the product.
Via the Modbus-RTU network
Yes, the sensor’s slave address can be changed via software using Modbus commands.
The components used in this sensor are manufactured in the USA and Switzerland.
Yes, according to Modbus protocol standards, this is possible. For more information and details on how to differentiate sensor data, you can refer to the sensor setup tutorial file.
You can find all tutorials and necessary files on the product page under the “Product Videos” and “Downloadable Files” tabs. Click here.
Some PLCs have an RS-485 port, allowing the sensor to connect directly. However, for PLCs without an RS-485 port, the sensors must be connected via RS-485 expansion cards.
Due to the sensor’s casing material, it cannot be installed directly inside a furnace. However, the company can provide the sensor with a half-meter cable, allowing customers to place the sensor circuitry outside while installing the sensor itself inside the furnace.
